Easy Homemade Air Fryer Pita Chips (10 minutes!)

With barely any effort, you can ditch the mediocre store-bought pita chips for these quick and delicious homemade ones. Your favorite dips are about to get upgraded.

Ingredients

4 pita breads

2 tablespoons olive or avocado oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika or Sumac, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 325°F for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Stack pita bread and use a sharp knife to cut into 6-8 triangles.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil and salt. Gently toss the pita triangles in oil, making sure they are all evenly coated.
  4. Working 2 batches, place pita triangles in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 4-5 minutes, flip (or give the basket a good shake).
  6. Air fry for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Transfer to a bowl and let cool slightly before serving with your favorite dip.
  8. Keep extra pita chips in an air tight container. Pita chips keep for 3-5 days.
