Creamy Gochujang Pasta

It’s time to shake up your usual creamy pasta dinners with this Korean-inspired dish, my very own spicy gochujang pasta recipe  This is an easy 25 minute recipe that is perfect for the weeknight! 

Gochujang is a spicy, pungent fermented Korean chili paste made from red chili peppers, glutinous rice, fermented soybeans, and salt. It has a deep red color and a rich, savory umami flavor.

What is Gochujang?

Ingredients

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the gochujang paste. Whisk together until combined.

Pour in the heavy cream, pasta water, and parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until sauce thickens slightly.

Add the cooked pasta and chopped herbs to the sauce. Toss to coat pasta fully.
